The Terrace Assisted Living

Our 40-bed facility offers private one-bedroom apartments, supported by a dedicated team of professional, awake staff available 24/7, including CNAs, Resident Assistant Aides, Activity Aides, and Housekeeping. With an average response time of just under four minutes, we ensure your loved one’s comfort and care are our top priorities.

We accept Medicaid Waiver and LTC Insurance (with eligibility determined by the resident) and offer Home Units for low-income residents. Choosing or declining services does not impact Home Unit eligibility. Your monthly rent includes all utilities—water, heat, electricity, Wi-Fi, and Direct TV—so you can focus on what matters most. Each apartment comes with a small refrigerator and kitchen sink, plus easy access to our on-site beauty and barber shop to keep you looking and feeling your best.

Our scheduled weekly laundry service and vibrant calendar of recreational activities ensure that each day is filled with convenience, fun, and connection. We also offer religious studies upon request, creating a community where you can thrive and enjoy every moment.
Care Management Services
At The Terrace Assisted Living, we provide compassionate Nursing Oversight and Care Management Services to ensure each resident’s well-being and comfort. Our Certified Nursing Assistants and in-house trained Resident Attendants are guided by a detailed care plan, created through a thorough nursing evaluation by a Licensed Practical Nurse. This evaluation helps us understand each resident’s unique needs and self-care abilities, allowing us to tailor services that promote health, safety, and quality of life in all aspects of daily living.

We accept Medicaid Waiver, Long Term Care Insurance, and Alaska Housing Finance Corp. Home Units. While residents are responsible for determining eligibility and enrollment, our team is here to assist you in navigating the process.
